Reviews and Ratings <br />
Our stay at Punga Cove was quite a mix. While the location is simply breathtaking and offers stunning views, we had some ups and downs with dining experiences. The staff was incredibly attentive, and our room was comfortable with lovely scenery. However, the dining prices felt a bit steep compared to the quality we received at times, especially during our Christmas lunch. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway, but dining could definitely improve.
Punga Lodge offers a beautiful escape, surrounded by serene natural beauty and fantastic food options. While my chalet had breathtaking views and was exceptionally clean, the overall noise levels were a concern, especially due to the restaurant's activities. The ambiance did not match the price point, which I found a bit disappointing. However, the dining experience truly stood out, making it a worthwhile visit, despite some drawbacks.
Punga offers a serene getaway with stunning views of the Marlborough Sounds. The accommodation was cozy and clean, providing a delightful place to relax. However, dinner at the restaurant fell short of expectations, which was a letdown for us. The transfers to Picton were well-organized, adding to the overall experience, but do keep in mind that it comes with a price.
The resort offers stunning accommodations with modern touches and spectacular views, making it a beautiful place to stay. However, the dining options were quite pricey and disappointing, leading to a less favorable experience in that regard. The spa facilities are exceptional, but could use some improvement. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to relax and enjoy nature, but be prepared for a steep walk to the restaurant and high dining prices.
Punga Lodge offers a stunning secluded experience at the waters' edge, surrounded by breathtaking views. The staff is incredibly attentive, and it feels like a truly special getaway, although the noise from the restaurant can be a major drawback for some rooms. The dining options were excellent, with delicious seafood, which really enhanced the overall experience. However, if you stay near the restaurant, be prepared for potential disturbances at night, which might affect your sleep.
